Price: not close, if you fit Waybook's tiers
Waybook publishes everything: Core at $99/mo (annual) with unlimited documents and 20 members, Pro at $198/mo (annual) adding SSO, audit logs, custom domain, and manager permissions. There is no setup fee and a 7-day trial. Trainual publishes nothing, quotes by team size, bills per seat, and charges $1,000 to onboard you. On a 15-person team, the gap will usually be hundreds of dollars a month.
The fine print on both sides: each member beyond the included 20 costs $5/mo on Core ($10 on Pro) with annual billing, and the annual prices assume prepayment (monthly billing costs roughly 20% more: $119 for Core). Trainual's $1,000 fee does buy a guided 4-6 week rollout that reviewers consistently rate as excellent, which matters if nobody on your team owns the migration.
The evidence gap
This is the most checkable difference between these products. Trainual carries 4.7 across 1,075 G2 reviews and 4.8 across 510 Capterra reviews.
