Trainual, Inc. is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, founded in 2018 by Chris Ronzio (CEO) and his brother Jonathan Ronzio. Before Trainual, Chris Ronzio ran an operations consulting firm for small businesses; the product started as a way to document “how a business does what it does” in one place.
The company has raised $33.75M from institutional investors: a $6.75M Series A in December 2019 led by 4490 Ventures and MATH Venture Partners, and a $27M Series B in June 2021 led by Altos Ventures, with participation from Daymond John, Indeed co-founder Rony Kahan, and PandaDoc CEO Mikita Mikado.
