How we review Trainual

What this site is

Trainual Reviews is an independent review aggregator, curated by Jean Luc. We are not Trainual and we don't work for them. Our goal is simple: collect what real users say about Trainual across the platforms where they post it, then organize it so you can make an informed decision in a few minutes instead of an afternoon.

Who runs this site

The aggregation, source verification, and editorial summaries here are maintained by Jean Luc, an independent curator with no employment or ownership ties to Trainual or any competitor covered on this site. Reviews are always quoted from their original platforms, never written here; Jean Luc's role is selection, verification, and keeping the numbers current.

Where the reviews come from

We aggregated 75 published reviews across 8 platforms. We did not write, edit, or solicit any of them. Every review is the words of a real Trainual user, quoted from its original source:

• G2· The largest Trainual review pool: verified business users, 84% five-star at last check.
• Capterra· Gartner-verified reviewers, mostly SMB owners, ops leads, and HR admins.
• Trustpilot· A small, unfiltered consumer-style review pool with a visible critical minority.
• Software Advice· Gartner-owned buyer-advice site; shares its verified review pool with Capterra.
• TrustRadius· Long-form vetted reviews; a small, older pool, mostly 2020-2021 and often incentivized.
• eLearning Industry· LMS directory with LinkedIn-verified reviewers; scores run out of 100.
• App Store· iPhone users rating Trainual's companion app, the weakest link in its review profile.
• Google Play· Android app ratings across 50K+ downloads.

How we score and tag

Each review is tagged by sentiment (positive, mixed, or critical) and by audience (creator or developer), so you can filter to the perspective that matches you. The headline score (4.3/5) is the plain average of the star ratings across all 75 reviews. It is not a number we made up, and it is not weighted to flatter the product.

Why we publish critical reviews

A review site that only shows praise isn't a review site. We include the negative reviews on purpose: the billing complaints, the support frustrations, the edge-case bugs, all verbatim and unedited. Balance is the entire point. It's what lets you trust the positive reviews too.

Keeping it current
