Privacy policy

The short version

Trainual Reviews is a content site. We don't ask you to create an account, we don't collect your name or email, and we don't sell data. We measure traffic with analytics, and we earn a commission if you sign up for Trainual through our links. That's the whole business model.

What we collect

We do not operate accounts, forms, newsletters, or comments, so we collect no personal information you type. What is collected happens automatically:

• Analytics data. Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, approximate location (city level, from IP), device and browser type, referring site, and clicks on our outbound affiliate links. Google processes this on our behalf; we see aggregate reports, not individuals.
• Server logs. Our host records standard request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and reliability.
• Affiliate attribution. When you click through to Trainual, their systems may set a cookie or URL parameter so the referral is credited to us. That process is governed by Trainual's privacy policy, not ours.

Cookies

Analytics cookies are the only cookies this site sets. They exist to count visits and understand which pages are useful. You can block them in your browser settings or with any content blocker, and the site will work exactly the same. Third-party cookies may be set by Trainual after you click through to their site.

Affiliate disclosure

Links to Trainual on this site are referral links. If you subscribe through one, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This funds the site. It does not change what we publish: we include critical reviews, and the platform ratings we display are the platforms' own numbers, which we cannot edit. See our methodology for how reviews are selected.

Reviews and personal data

The reviews quoted on this site were published publicly by their authors on third-party review platforms, and are attributed to the display name and date shown on the original platform. We do not publish contact details. If you authored a review quoted here and want it removed from this site, contact us and we will take it down. Removing it from the original platform is a separate request to that platform.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA/CPRA in California) you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information. You can opt out of analytics at any time by blocking cookies in your browser or enabling its Global Privacy Control signal.

Children

This site is intended for adults evaluating software purchases and is not directed to children under 13.

We'll update this page if our practices change, and revise the date at the top.
